The domain

Domaine MARCHAND Frères has existed in Morey-Saint-Denis for seven generations.
In 1983, it expanded further with the acquisition of an old winegrower's house located in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin.
The current building dates from the beginning of the 18th century and was erected on a cellar where the owner aged the wines of his property and left them to age in bottles.
Domaine MARCHAND FRÈRES has nearly 7.5 hectares of vines whose plots are located in the villages of: Chambolle Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis, Gevrey Chambertin in which the premier crus are located: Les Sentiers sur Chambolle, Le Clos des Ormes sur Morey, Les Combottes sur Gevrey. And the great wines: Le Clos de la Roche in Morey then the Griottes Chambertin and the Charmes Chambertin in Gevrey.
In 1999, Domaine MARCHAND Frères was taken over by Denis MARCHAND.

The vines

The estate's vines extend over the villages of Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis and finally Gevrey-Chambertin.

Our vines are mainly composed of old vines, ranging from 30 to 60 years old. Thus giving the term “old vines” to most of our wines.

Sustainable cultivation is practiced on all of our plots, spacing out treatments as much as possible and using natural treatments when appropriate.
